Cada Gota Cuenta explores the life-changing impact of clean water in Guatemala, focusing on social enterprise EcoFiltro’s innovative approach to combating water contamination through their locally-made and sustainable water purification system with a positive educational angle. Following Laura, a young student whose education and health were threatened by unsafe drinking water, the film highlights how EcoFiltro transformed her school and community. This story reveals how one organization is striving to provide safe drinking water to millions and inspiring hope across Central America.

Since its international release, ‘Ferteliza’ has garnered acclaim, winning Best Comedy Short Film at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival (MUFF) and positive reviews at a Horror Film Festival in Orlando, Florida. In ‘Ferteliza’, the recently widowed Eliza, revives her rosebush with her husband's ashes, sparking a belief in their healing powers. Mocked by neighbours, she descends into a murderous rampage, collecting more ashes growing her rosebush into unrealistic proportions. This short film explores love, loss, and unexpected consequences in a gripping narrative.

Inside a Documentary Program - Episode Preview
At the conclusion of an Actuality Abroad Documentary Outreach Program in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Serpositivity podcast captured interviews with five participants following the success of the film screenings. These interviews touched on topics of collaborating across cultures, navigating new production roles, understanding storytelling structures, forging lasting global friendships and what it means to step outside your comfort zone and tell meaningful stories. These interviews capture the spirit of filmmaking, connection, and belonging — bringing it all together to tell stories that matter.

Galería Elementos - Erika Biancas Documentary
Galería Elementos explores the role of art as a force for expression, community and cultural resilience in Campeche, Mexico. Following artist, curator and gallery founder Erika Blancas, the film highlights her work supporting more than fifty artists while creating one of the few independent spaces for visual art in the city. Through her story, the documentary reveals the challenges of living from art, the importance of women’s voices, and the need for emerging artists to believe in themselves, build community, and keep culture alive through creativity.

Fuerza En Una Sonrisa explores the transformative impact of community care through the work of Patronato Pro Niños in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Following María and her son Jesús, the film highlights the challenges they face and the unwavering bond that carries them forward. Through the support of Patronato Pro Niños, a nonprofit dedicated to providing vital healthcare and assistance to children and families in need, their story becomes one of resilience, dignity, and hope. This documentary was produced during an Actuality Abroad Documentary Outreach Program in 2025.
MR.HAPPY explores the power of authentic cultural connection through the eyes of a passionate local guide in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Challenging outdated perceptions of his city, Mr. Happy invites visitors beyond the tourist trail and into the everyday lives, stories, and traditions that make Saigon unique. Through his community-based tours, strangers become friends, visitors become locals, and cultural barriers begin to fade. This documentary was produced during an Actuality Abroad Documentary Outreach Program in 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
