MICHAEL
SERPELL

Multimedia Storyteller

Hello!
I’m
Michael Serpell

I am a multimedia creator specializing in visual storytelling, on-camera interviews, and live event broadcast production.

My industry experience spans a range of creative and leadership roles, including Marketing and Entertainment Coordinator for the championship-winning Yolo High Wheelers in Davis, CA. As the team's primary content creator, I led social media marketing campaigns, served as the lead videographer capturing in-game highlights, produced all home game broadcasts from the press box, and directed the team’s documentary series.

As Digital Engagement Officer at RMIT University, I founded the award-winning 2023 Most Outstanding Sports Program, the RMIT Sports Media Program. This provided aspiring sports media students with hands-on industry experience, empowering them as central storytellers through podcasts, documentaries, articles, and social media platforms.

Internationally, I have interviewed notable sports figures on camera for podcasts and webseries and led large-scale events, including leadership seminars, graduation ceremonies, and health-focused video series. I’ve also directed, written, and performed in short films, documentaries, radio and television shows across various genres such as comedy, tourism, education, sports, news, and social impact.

With a passion for creativity, humor, compassion and collaboration, I bring vibrant energy and a dynamic approach to every project and organization I work with. I look forward to empowering your story.
