Filmmaker

Versatile performer, embodying roles as an actor, singer, artist, writer and comedian. With a major in Television, Film, and New Media, coupled with studies in Acting, Voice and Movement and Screenplay Writing during a transformative global exchange at San Diego State University, I bring a unique blend of skills to both the stage and screen.

Recent credits include acting and directing TorKILLa, a dark-comedy screened at the Setting Sun Film Festival and comedy sketches for ‘In The Ball Park’ on TikTok. From my formative years performing at the Young Australian Broadway Chorus to improvisational and clowning classes at RMIT University I’m continuing to elevate my skills and adaptability for the American entertainment industry.

Check out some of my most notable presenting roles to date:

TorKILLa - Director, Writer (2023)

Participating in the Kino Kaberet 72-hour film festival with the Melbourne filmmaking community, I successfully wrote, directed, edited, and screened my short film at the Setting Sun Film Festival in Yarraville. In my dark comedy TorKILLa (2023), a friendly game night takes a dark turn during the viral 'Tortilla Slap Challenge.' A playful slap leads to a shocking accident, triggering panic as the group attempts to hide the evidence. The film explores the absurdity of situations, the bonds of friendship, and life's unpredictable twists.

Ferteliza - Director, Writer, Producer (2022)

Set in leafy suburb of Northcote, Ferteliza (2022) was the first short film that I wrote, directed, edited, produced in Australia and was partially funded by RMIT Creative. When Eliza, a widowed woman irritated by her neighbourhood goes on a killing rampage after discovering her ashes have miraculous healing powers on her roses. This dark comedy horror short film explores the unique effects of grief and the unexpected consequences of seeking solace in unusual places. Since it’s international release, it has won Best Comedy Short Film at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival (MUFF) and received positive reviews from the Spooky Empire’s Horror Film Festival in Orlando, Florida.

Grass - Production Assistant (2018)

Assisting with set preparation, including lights, props, and equipment. Working alongside directors, script continuity, and other crew members to pack-in and out scenes and running errands to support the production process. Also, played multiple supporting roles. Grass (2018), a TTF SDSU production is a wild adventure comedy that follows Alex, a free-spirited individual on a journey fuelled by the green "plant of the gods." from motivational speeches to unexpected snakebites, it’s a tale of absurdity, friendship, and the unpredictable nature of life's twists and turns.

Julie - Director, Producer, DOP, Audio, Editor (2017)

In my capacity as the producer and filmmaker for the Aussie Hands Foundation's inaugural microdocumentary "Julie," I orchestrated the complete production cycle, encompassing filming, interviewing, audio recording, and editing. This documentary, which delves into Julie's personal narrative, not only captures the complexities of navigating life with a hand difference but also fosters a deeper understanding of the triumphs and challenges faced by individuals in similar circumstances. Through this project, I played a pivotal role in advancing the foundation's mission to establish a supportive community for youth and children with hand differences and their families.

Cada Gota Cuenta - Every Drop Counts - Producer (2016)

As the producer of the award-winning social impact documentary 'Cada Gota Cuenta' (Every Drop Counts) during my tenure with Actuality Media's Documentary Outreach Program in 2016, I led a four-week project in Guatemala. The film gives a dynamic insight into the detrimental impact of contaminated water in Guatemala, focusing on young student Laura's journey from illness to empowerment through EcoFiltro's groundbreaking technology. Beyond producing, I was the primary liaison between the crew, supervisors, and project subjects, budgeting and spearheaded marketing efforts, promoting our work at local and international film festivals.

We Will Remember Them - Director, Interviewer, Producer (2015)

As the writer, director, and interviewer, the documentary explores the profound legacy of ANZAC Day, a century after the Gallipoli Campaign. We Will Remember Them (2015), a Year 12 VCE student film for Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School, features gripping interviews with current servicemen and women, dedicated Shrine of Remembrance volunteers, and a heartfelt conversation with Frank Stabback, a 96-year-old Australian digger and former prisoner of war. The documentary received acclaim during emotional screenings at the St. Kilda Town Hall and the Highett RSL.
